Hi @thibotus01
This is Ioanna from Imagify and I’ll gladly assist you here!
I am sorry to hear that.
Did you make any changes in the meantime?
Your optimized images should be on your server on the location wp-content/uploads.
Can you please try to activate our Imagify Tools helper plugin and send us a screenshot of the Imagify Tools > Info page?
Best regards,
Ioanna

Hi,
I didn’t make any change.
I can see .webp versions in /uploads/2021/08
Also please be specific on where to look to identify Imagify optimized pictures.
I installed the tool but the page is very long I can’t take on single screenshot.
Also it contains private informations such my domain name.
Please advise on what do you want to see.
Hi @thibotus01
Thanks a lot for your patience!
Can yoy tell me if the issue is still happening?
What you can do to compare images and see if there is optimized version delivered to your site:
– connect to SFTP or File Manager under your cPanel (if you have it)
– check a specific image in wp-content/uploads/ folder, for example wp-content/uploads/2021/08/image.jpg and check what’s its’ size
– then check if backup of this image exists in wp-content/uploads/backup/2021/08/image.jpg – if so, is the size of this one larger than the first one?
If this is the case, and you still see “Optimize” button in Media Library for that image, there is a problem with database entry for the image. This is something we would have to investigate further.
If there is no image in backup folder, can you try to optimize it again and let me know if it will appear?
Best Regards
Marko
