When I upload a feature image, there is a “reSmush.it status” with an “optimize” button, but the button does nothing.

I had Optimize on upload turned off, Process optimize on CRON on.

It would be handy to be able to manually initiate the optimization there, although optimize on upload is turned off.

    Hi,

I tried to reproduce your bug without success. Here the different steps I followed :
    – reSmush.it is on version 0.3.8
    – I disable Optimize on upload
    – I enable Optimize on Cron
    – I add a new picture
    – I edit the picture then I click on “Optimize” button
    – it optimizes the picture.

Can you describe us precisely your steps ?

    Cheers,
    Charles

    Hi, Charles

I am creating a new post and adding a new feature image on the new post.

It appears you are doing a general upload of a new image and in that case the button works for me, but not for when uploading new feature image on a post or attempting to change the feature image on a post.

    – reSmush.it is on version 0.3.8
    – I disable Optimize on upload
    – I enable Optimize on Cron
    – I add a new post
    – Click Set Feature Image
    – Click Upload Files tab
    – Click Select Files Button
    – Choose an image in file open dialog and wait for upload
    – Click on “Optimize” button
    – Nothing happens
