    Hi,

I have searched for an answer over a week now. I hope someone can help me out.

When I press “Optimize CSS Code?” it is cussing the main CSS to be ignored and the result is no CSS. Why this is happening?

I have no other checkbox checked. I don’t want to exclude the main CSS.

    Hope you can help,
    Thanks!
    Alan

hey @alanbee; does the resulting autoptimized CSS-file have no CSS, or a bit of CSS, or does it 404 or does it result in a server error?

    Hi,

    Thank you for you answer.

The page is there, but the main CSS is gone after turning on the “Optimize CSS Code”.

Once I unchecked it, everything goes to normal again.

Please see it here. This is after I have checked “Optimize CSS Code”

I will. Can you please tell me how do I install it on my wordpress?

I have copied the folder to the plugin folder and it is working!!! Thank you. I have worked on trying to understand what is wrong all week. Do you have any idea what is wrong with the older version?

    Thanks again!

well, the new version is better at knowing what files can be aggregated and in the actual aggregation (esp. the getPath() function in autoptimizeBase.php improved a lot) 🙂

    Hi Again,

Just wanted to update or find out if what I’m seeing is not a bug.

When I clear the cache in at the top of the toolbar, it is not cached. Only when I do it 3 times I see 0 files.

Also, even after I have 0 files, at the server I see that the Cache folder is not getting deleted. Is it supposed to be like that?

    Thank you,
    Alan

that’t normal; AO 2.2 (or 2.1.99 which you’re using) has automatic cache warming, so when you empty cache it will be populated again almost immediately to ensure your visitors have as little impact as possible from the cache being purged 🙂

    Perfect! Thank you.
