    Can you please optimize the hundreds of images you include in the plugin folder? It takes a couple minutes to run them through TinyPNG and it will save everyone over 50% in file sizes.

    Overwriting them with ones I’ve optimized after every single update is getting old.

    Pretty please?

    (@amsgator) I’ve not tested this of late so the below workaround may not be accurate.

    Install EWWW Image Optimizer and from memory I think there’s a setting for it to Optimize Images not included in the Media Library.

    Anyways Yes, Theme and Plugin Devs really should Optimize images, for space saving, but also for loading times.
