Optimize JavaScript Code Error

Hi Frank,
After I checked “Optimize JavaScript Code”, part of the code seems to stop loading. I have other sites with the plugin which are working perfectly. Could you help me look into this issue?

did you check what JS-errors you have on your browser console when AO JS optimization is active?

Hi Frank,
Here is the error I got. Do you know why it is causing the issue?

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token !

can you try excluding /salient/js/superfish.js from JS optimization?

Hi Frank,
I try excluding superfish.js but it still looks the same. Here is JS error in console.

Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined at superfish.js:280

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ! autoptimize_bbcdbf1e6951f7dee24b341dbbc952e9.js:177

darn .. well, you can remove superfish.js from the exclusions then. to fix this I’m afraid you’ll have to try to exclude other JS from optimization, but I don’t have the time to help you identify the culprit now I’m afraid (too much work in my real job at the moment 😉 )
