    Hey

    I have just purchased EWWW. I am trying to Bulk optimise the 755 images in my media folder –

    Optimize Media Library

    755 images in the Media Library have been selected (755 unoptimized), with 2239 resizes (2239 unoptimized).

    Instead of optimising all 755 images, it says

    Optimized 1/0

    Only runs 1 image and does nothing else?

    When I did ‘Optimize Everything Else’, 355 images, it optimised all the images…

    Any help appreciated

    Hey

    I just deactivated the plugin, deleted it along with the files..

    Tried to upload via plugin but it seems to be taking a while to upload? Say sending request to jasdipsagu.com…I can see the loading symbol on browser tab rotating…do I let this continue?

    Also just noticed the file sizes in media have gone back to the ‘original’ sizes?

    I guess it could take a while, depending on your uplink. The images can’t go back to original file sizes though, optimization is permanent. Perhaps you meant something else besides file size?

    Okay, seems to have installed and now is doing a bulk optimising…

    Just wondering as I ordered 5000 credits but have around 1000 images – think my theme produces 3 sizes. hence I had about 1500+ credits left

    So just wondering if am image is previously optimised but is reduced even further by even 0.1% does that use a credit or is it per image?

    Yeah, if there is ANY savings, it counts as a credit. If it says previously optimized though, that means it didn’t re-optimize it. EWWW queries the ewwwio_images table to see if an image has been optimized before, and just returns the previous results unless you use the “force re-optimize” option.

    Thank you! Appreciate you taking the time to sort this issue out as I am sure I won’t be the only person who has a bit of OCD and wants to keep everything i.e. images in folders! lol

    Love the plugin! Has made my website load so much faster! Will definitely be recommending your plugin to my friends!
