Optimize original image to reduce disk usage

Now, I reviewed on my site but It seems not working as I expected. Maybe I had not explained It well

I proposed to compress original image to reduce disk usage. In example, I upload an image with original size of 6,9MB. WordPress creates an “scaled” version of It:

Also it generate a lot of thumbnails like these:
https://www.antojoentucocina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/tostadas-queso-caramelizado-4-2048×1367.jpg – 380KB
https://www.antojoentucocina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/tostadas-queso-caramelizado-4-200×200.jpg – 12KB

But the original image still use 6.9MB:

I have “Media” settings like:

* El nivel de compresión de imágenes es de Low (25%)
* Original images backups are Disabled

Is It possible to have these feature?
