Optimized featured image dimensions

Dear Evolve Plus team,

We have been using your Theme for a while, and genuinely generally love it.

However, recently we’ve been wanting more from the featured images. As it stands, the maximum dimensions we’ve been able to input for the appearance of our pages – we use a 4.6:1 ratio, we have found that we need to use 768×167 px to get the featured image to fit and look relatively nice. The problem is that the images look pixelated with those dimensions, but if we double the dimensions to 1536×334 px then the featured image becomes too tall to look good on the pages. So, our question is how can we maintain the ratio and preferred height of the featured images (see example link) but have improved visuals with sharper images – given that sharp images is best practice and standardized across the net.
