Optimizer Just Says Cleaning Database

    I just installed this yesterday, and basically set it up to clean everything older than 1 day. I clicked the button to start running it, and a bar appeared that says Cleaning Database. It just stayed like that for hours. Nothing else happened.

    I did set it up to keep logs and I don’t see one anywhere so I’m guessing it never finished. Should I expect it to be running that long? Do I just need to be more patient?

    Hey Desert-rover,

    No one reported this issue before.

    Normally it only takes a few hundred milliseconds up to a few seconds (depends on the size of the database, of course)

    My guess is that, maybe, it’s fighting with another plugin.
    Please deactivate your other plugins for a moment and run my plugin again.

    Can you tell me what I should expect to see if it runs correctly?

    Hey desert-rover,

    You should see a report of exactly what the plugin did.

    How many and which revisions were deleted, how many trashed items were deleted, etc. and a list of tables that has been optimized.

    Please, let me know the outcome of your experiment 😉
