Optimizer Theme – (1) Logo alignment (2) image size restriction

Hi,

I’m trying to move the logo at the top left so that it tucks beside the menu in the center.(I basically want to center the logo and menu together) — I’ve tried every CSS guide/tutorial and I’ve played with every line I can find within the stylesheet, I can’t find an answer so I’m out of ideas.

.logo {float: center;} #topmenu
{margin-top: 4%;}

And a couple of others but it conflicts with the menu when it should sit beside it. Any help would be greatly appreciated…. thanks all! Also I’m trying to configure the grey box (labelled image) to stretch across the whole screen but it seems restricted to 1680(width) – no luck with that either.
