I have Cloudflare free and your Super Page Cache plugin working nicely on my WordPress site. I have just installed Optimole, and I’m now working on integrating Optimole with Cloudflare. So I’m looking at your instructions for “How to whitelist Optimole user agent on cloudflare?” help document.

This help document says to open my Cloudflare account and “select the site for which you are using Optimole” and then go to Security > WAF Rules and click on Create a Firewall rule.” Alas, these instructions no longer correspond to what I see in the Cloudflare dashboard. Under Security, there is no (longer?) a WAF tab. There is, however, a Security rules tab, which opens to a screen that allows one to create different types of rules.

I’m guessing Cloudflare has changed things since you created the help document mentioned above, but I’m not sure. So I am confused as to how to proceed and would appreciate advice.

Note: As of now, examining the urls of a few images on my site, it appears that they are still loading from /wp-content/uploads/

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @ln-cwm,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Yes, that is the correct place. Cloudflare has changed the section name, which can make it confusing, but this is still where those rules should be added.

I will update the documentation to avoid further confusion. If you would like additional confirmation, you can also contact Cloudflare support and ask them to verify that this is the correct location.

I hope this helps. Thank you.

Brilliant! Thanks, Kush. Using the new Security rules tab and creating a custom rule worked nicely.

One suggestion: If you update the “How to whitelist Optimole user agent on cloudflare” document, please consider making the typeface a tad larger. The screenshots are very difficult to read. 😎
