Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/asiag/public_html/testing/wp-content/plugins/optin-spin/optinspin.php on line 123

how to solve this?

Hi @simnetbusines

Seems link you are using old version of Php can you please check your Php version. It requires Php 5.3+ to run OptinSpin.

We will try to reproduce this error after testing our plugin with PHP Version 5.6.37 on our testing site and will update in upcoming release.

We have tested our plugin on PHP Version 5.6.37 and on the latest versions of PHP, we can confirm that there is no such issue on our side kindly check again and provide screenshots of the error you are seeing or contact support at [email protected]
