Please add a function to disable email alerts for known security issues.
    f.e. the current issue:
“Vulnerability found: WordPress 2.3-4.8.2 – Host Header Injection in Password Reset”

I don’t need to get a mail about the same issue every day, but also – I don’t want to disable the plugin.
So, it would be nice to have a function (a checkbox or something like this) which you can mark and then, the notification for this vulnerability will be disabled.

Or: just increase the email alert to once a week f.e. (if possible)

Thanks for the idea — this is something I will consider adding to a future release of the plugin (both ignore option & email frequency).

    Hi,
This is needed. I am getting the notifications everyday with the WordPress, so I am ignoring the emails at all.
Last week it was another vulnerability and I missed it for 7 days because I thought it was the same email as the past 40 days…

Please consider this an important update.

    Thanks

Thank you very much for the update!!

That was a great change, but disabling notifications for only one specific vulnerability was a short-term strategy. For instance, I’m sure we’re all currently sick of the endless notifications for
“Vulnerability found: WordPress <= 4.9.4 – Application Denial of Service (DoS) (unpatched)”
It’s legitimate, and not this plugin’s fault, that sometimes vulnerabilities have to be ignored. Maybe it would be better if we could create a list with the text of vulnerabilities that we want ignored. That would cover any future circumstances once and for all.
