Option tab empty

    Hi!

    I recommended this plugin to my podcast listeners because I think it’s very helpful. It’s been working fine for me.

    The problem is that one of my subscribers emailed me saying that the ‘Option’ tab of the plugin’s settings is empty. Meaning he clicks on it and nothing shows. The other tabs are working just fine.

    Any idea why this is happening?

    Hey Gonzalo. Thanks for the feedback. That’s interesting that someone’s having an issue with the Option tab, because someone named Mike emailed me about that as well. This is what I asked him.

    Can you view the debug log by typing in the URL directly? It’s something like http://www.website_url.com/wp-content/plugins/404-solution/abj404_debug.txt where website_url is the domain of your website? If not, can you FTP into the site and download the file? The file can be found in the directory <wordpress installation directory>/wp-content/plugins/404-solution/. Maybe there’s an error message in there that will give me some more information. If you could send me the contents of the file that would be great.

    Hi Aaron,

    I am experiencing the same issue with the Option tab but also receiving a message “Fatal error: Call to a member function getPostParent() ” – I have downloaded the debug file if you need it. Just let me know how to get it to you.

    Other than that, the plugin is working as I would expect it to and has been logging and redirecting just fine.

    Ah thanks for the additional info wdyim. That should be enough to figure out the issue. I’ll put a new version out as soon as I can.

    The fix worked. The Option tab is now visible.

    Gonzalo, I suppose this fixed the issue your listener is having as well. Just reopen this or a new ticket with details if not!
