Hi, ever since the 26th march 2024 the order attribution comes up as unknown. I have read online that this can be down to payment plugins. see: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/order-attribution-origin-unknown-3/

Are you guys aware of this with this plugin or actually your paypal one as well (as they seem to get updated at the same time) where the plugin is not allowing the order attribution to be added to the order so we can see a snapshot of where the order referral has come from in woo.

    Hi @dccs52

The Stripe plugin does not manipulate any of the core WooCommerce templates like in the case of the Klarna plugin. Our plugins do not interact with the order attribution logic so it’s doubtful the issue is related to our plugin.

WooCommerce uses the action woocommerce_checkout_after_customer_details to output a series of hidden inputs that are used for the attribution. If you go to your checkout page, click f12 using Chrome and in the developer window, click the Elements tab. Perform a search for wc-order-attribution-inputs. If that HTML is missing, you know something is preventing those fields from being output.

    Kind Regards
