Order by CLASS layout

Had a look at the layout files..
I am looking to generate a table as such:

— mon tue wed thu fri sat sun
class 1 data
class 2 data data
class 3 data

Instead of categorizing on $start_time in the far left column would like to organize by $classes

Possible??
