    Good day,

    I have an issue with order checkout in WPDM.
    I have received a sale notification today from my website. A customer bought a digital file on my website. But the file download count has not changed. Is the download supposed to start automatically after payment confirmation or do I need to email the download link to the customer?

    Another strange thing is that the name and email address of the customer have changed to my details (email and name) on the order dashboard.

    Can you please advise on what is happening here?

    First of all, for the download count issue you can deactivate and reactivate the WordPress Download Manager.

    If you want to email the download link to the customer then you need to add the email lock option.

    HI Sohrat,

    Thank you for your response. I got the count and downlink email issues sorted.
    The last item was my mistake.
