order confirmation email contains wrong product title

My store has Custom Fields for Products including a short_desc field

When I checkout the post_title is passed correctly everywhere EXCEPT to mailchimp

Instead the meta:short_desc is passed to the email template and is used instead for the product_title

On page
Cheech and Chong GROW Beard Growth Oil Made With Hemp Seed Oil Unscented (2 oz)

On all woocommerce generated emails
