Order count shows empty cells in export

Hi there,

I’m trying to create an export of all the users of our website to see who has placed an order and who has not.

I used your export-tool and created an excel-file which shows all users and shows their order count in a specific column.

The problem is, however, that a lot of the cells in the order-count-column are empty. I checked, but an empty cell does not necessarily mean that that user has not placed orders. For example, I found one user with an empty cell in the order-count-column that had placed 4 orders and I found another user with an empty cell in the order-count-column that has placed no orders. Furthermore, some users have a ‘0’ in their order-count-column.

So the empty cells can mean both that a user has or has not placed any orders.

Do you know why the export is showing these empty cells and if so, can you tell me how to fix it so that the order-count-column show the right amount of orders for every user?

@allardreisiger,

Good afternoon, sorry but I think this value is calculated by WooCommerce. As you are exporting customers without orders, this is 0.

Or maybe I am wrong.

Hi Javier,

I thought the empty cells would have to be 0 as well, but then I checked a few and encountered users that had several orders, even though the order-count-cell in the export was empty. So it can’t be that every empty cell is 0.

Which is the exact name of the meta column? I am going to do some checks.

I have tried in several sites, and it is working.

This is a metadata, so it is saved in wp_usermeta, you can check the value saved using some plugin like this https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/display-metadata/.

The problem is in your data, not in this plugin.We only read and export.

Hi Javier,

Thanks for the reply. It seems that there is a piece of code in WooCommerce that deletes the metadata for _order_count when an order is manually created by an admin, so that is probably why I encountered this problem.
