Order number range

    Hi I was wondering if there’s a possible way for your plugin to control order numbers to a range limit, so if an order reaches the maximum number range it’ll reset to the first number it it’s assigned range?

    Example the client can only use order numbers in range 1466514 – 1472513 to avoid conflict with his business partner, if order #1472513 (the limit) is placed the next order will reset back to order #1466514

    Hi @vchoo,

    Thank you for explaining in detail.

    Currently, from our plugin, it is possible to reset the order numbers or display the existing order numbers in sequential rather than random by clicking on “Renumerate Order Tool”. This will arrange the orders starting with the sequence set by the client.

    However, it is not possible from our plugin to control the order numbers to a range limit and reset to the first number in it’s assigned range when the order reaches to the maximum range.

    Also, if the order #1466514 is reset back in the order range 1466514-1472513, then 2 ID’s will be created of the same number on the order page. This will cause the issue.
