• Hello I have been trying to figure this issue out with no success. When testing our order placement we continue to get 404 page not found for our checkout redirect page. We are currently on WooCommerce 2.4.11 first noticed on 2.4.10. The url’s are matching up to what the end points should be at

    <url>/shop/checkout/received/528?key=wc_order_566718a823e8a.
    endpoint set to “received”

Every time a transaction runs customers will get the 404 error page.

What I have tried so far is changing the permalinks around, and saving twice. I have changed both the root and the end point and saved permalinks still getting same error. I am going to test with plugins removed to see if this fixes the issue.

  • Hello there,

Does your checkout page exist? Try to check it through Dashboard > Pages.

Have you confirmed if all gateways do this, or only some? The gateway can change the redirect and the generated path may be wrong in this case.

You can also try removing the ‘shop’ base from pages such as checkout – I’ve seen instances where nesting pages can cause 404s.
