    Hi there!

To help us better understand what might be causing the issue, could you please check your browser’s console for any errors while you’re trying to update the order status?

Steps to check the browser console:

    1. Open the Order Edit page in your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Press Ctrl + Shift + I (or Cmd + Option + I on Mac) to open the developer tools.
    3. Click on the Console tab.
    4. Try changing the order status and click Update.
    5. Watch the console for any red error messages.

If you see any errors, please take a screenshot or copy the error message and share it with us — this will help in identifying what’s going wrong

Also, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

    • System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status
    • Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Please use https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com/ and share a link to that paste in reply here. Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

    Hi Shahzeen,

Thank you for your kind response.

    Inspect

The below is Woocommerce >Status >Log

2025-07-27T00:34:05+00:00 Error Invalid limit type passed to wc_get_related_products. Expected integer, got string with value: “4”

The is System Status Report. https://github.com/ktchan1811/WooStatus/issues/1

    Hi @kt77,

Thanks so much for sharing the error log and for trying to provide the System Status Report, I appreciate your effort on this.

It looks like the link you shared to GitHub isn’t publicly accessible, so we aren’t able to view the report from there. Could you please try pasting the full System Status Report into https://pastebin.com instead and share the link here? That might be a bit easier and ensures we can view it right away.

Also, just to confirm, have you run a conflict test yet by deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce and switching to a default theme like Storefront? If not, I recommend giving that a try. This will help determine if something else on the site is interfering with the order status update.

Once you’ve had a chance to run that test, please let us know what you find, and don’t forget to send over the updated Pastebin link to your System Status Report. Looking forward to your update!

    Have pasted in the pastebin.

have you run a conflict test yet by deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce as mentioned – will do later.

    Thank you.

    Hi @kt77,

Thanks for your message and for confirming that you’ve pasted the System Status Report to Pastebin. It looks like the link wasn’t included in your reply. When you get a chance, please share the link here so we can take a proper look.

Also, once you’ve had the opportunity to complete the plugin conflict test by deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce and switching to a default theme like Storefront, feel free to include your findings along with the Pastebin link.

Looking forward to your update so we can continue troubleshooting this with you!
