order status stuck at processing

I just opened my woo commerce store (all items are downloadable) and I seem to be having problems with my first two orders. When I made a test purchase myself, everything went perfectly.

However, my first customer’s card was declined twice (may have been her card) and then finally went through, but the order is stuck on processing. I check my PayPal account and her payment has not gone through, and she has not downloaded the item.

My second customer’s card went through fine. The payment showed up in my PayPal, but the order is still marked as processing, and she has not downloaded the item. I just manually marked it as complete, and am waiting to see if she is able to download.

What is going on? I appreciate any help you can give! Here is my status:

Hi @makeadlib,

Outside of some payment issues, I believe your products should be set to both virtual and downloadable. Then with a successful payment the order should automatically be set to completed and the downloads allowed.

You can also enable this option here to allow downloads when an order is processing. If the product isn’t virtual the order won’t automatically be set to completed since WooCommerce is assuming a physical product also needs shipped alongside the digital file. That requires the store admin intervention to mark completed in those cases.
