Hi Asger,
Does this only happen when the wocommerce email designer plugin is active? I haven’t heard from others experiencing this. Can you send a screenshot of your email?
Kindly,
Hannah
Hello Hannah
Yes, it seems like the plugin is causing the issue.
Here is a screenshot of an email with the mising total:

Hello Asger,
The plugin will still use WooCommerce’s action to show the order data. Could we also have a screenshot of how the same email notification looks if the Kadence WooCommerce Email Designer plugin is not activated?
Do you have any custom code snippets that may affect the email templates of the WooCommerce plugin? Please do the troubleshooting steps from this article so you can pinpoint the cause of the issue.
Kind Regards,
Karla
Hello Karla
I have noticed that when I create a test order (With check payment) I get the order total line in emails.
When I use credit card payments the total line is missing (With the plugin activated)
Is there a setting i’m missing or something like that?
Best Regards
Asger
Hi Asger,
I don’t believe this plugin is affecting this. Did you try testing with this plugin deactivated? Have you contacted your payment plugins support?
Kindly,
Hannah
Hello Hannah
I have disabled the plugin, and all the information is there (So it would seem that the plugin is causing the issue?)
Best Regards
Asger
I’ll check with the developer and see if he has any insight. Thanks for your patience!
Kindly,
Hannah
Hi,
It would be really really strange but I suppose it’s possible your credit card payment plugin is overriding the email templates to manually add a total line vs using the woocommerce system? That is so unlikely I don’t really even want to mention it but I’m coming up blank in trying to think of a way in which the total line would be missing.
Can you send information about your setup? Which payment plugin are you using? Perhaps I can look at their code and see what they are doing.
Either way there isn’t an issue with the total line using any of the standard payment options or any of the other major ones like stripe, braintree, etc.
