Ordered list within ordered list

When I use on Extras page ordered/or unordered list within ordered list item I can assign type to it like type=”a” and it shows up OK in preview. On save the sublist turns into numbered list

1. Top ordered list item 1
   <ol type=”a”>
2. Sublist, item 1
3. Sublist, item 2
