    Hi,

I was trying to deal with the sorting of category pages, and it is was a bit difficult to get what I wanted.

I have three main categories with sub categories.
However when I am trying to use the table view , It ignores that some are sub categories and display them in the order of choice (i.e. alphabetic or slug).

As I do not want to confuse the reader I want them in the same order like the link library.
So I had to separate them out via explicit category overwright.
    [link-library-cats settings=”1″ categorylistoverride=”128,132,145,141,131″ ]

It would be great if the link-library-cats would use the same “tree” than the listing of the library.
Also following two features could improve the category sorting
    – Define an order via the override ; i.e. if I want the categories in a special order, the plugin uses the order I put in the list after categorylistoverride
    – If I enter the ID of a category with subcategories, all subcategories will be shown as well.

And is there a way to get the different line styles for the library as well and not just for the categories?
Or could I create my own listing template?

Thank you, really like the plugin.

    Sabrina

Sorry for the extremely long time before responding. I see that the page for which you asked for help no longer exists. Sorry that I was not able to help you back then.

I just ran some tests here and in current versions of Link Library, sub-categories are displaying correctly under their parent categories, when displaying links as tables. But it is quite possible that this is only the case due to some fixes I did in the past few months.

Let me know if you ever go back to using the plugin.
