osCommerce theme

    hi,
    Can someone kindly advice me?

    I have setup a CREloaded OScommerce. Now is time for me to add in a OS commerce theme. But i have no idea pertaining this insert. My question is

    * can CREloaded OS commerce be linked with WP?
    * will the function of OS Commerce workable with WP?
    * after install WP, is the OS Commerce theme automatic linked with OS commerce where is was install to my http://www.remote site?

    Your helps will be greatly appreciated.

    Sadly, this is a common question: will System A work with System B. Generally, no. I have tried to force ecommerce systems into various content management systems, and it’s been a nightmare every single time, so I won’t do it anymore.

    It is slightly possible that you can find someone who can graft them together. But this would have to be a great PHP programmer, and the project would be huge.

    Of course, if you really need a blog, you can just install WP in a separate folder, and make a link to it from OSCommerce.

    Personally, I will admit that I loathe OSCommerce, it was so full of bugs. If your site is already live, I guess it’s too late.

    Actually my team are about a week away from creating this “holy grail” a fully functional osCommerce plug in for WP.

    flamenco is right, it is a monster project, but thankfully i have a genius running the project…we are 80% done with no issues todate.
