Other Plugins and PageSpeed

What can plugin creators do to allow your plugin to ASAP render a cached page if one is available and avoid going through all the actions and filters that probably would not change what the visitor should see compared to what’s on the cached page? I ask you this because I took the source code from a homepage and put it on a static page… then I tested the homepage and the static page on PageSpeed and the static page was 8 points better. The slower page had bad server response time.
