Other URL-structure

Hello,

at first I want to apologize for my English as it is not my first language. I got a problem with Multisite and I hope that someone in here maybe could help my solving it.

We built a website for the company I work and the previous developer used the wrong url-structure in the beginning as he was forced to set multisite. We have one wordpress in the root direction and use Multisite for landingpages. But the structure for the landingpages is as follows: url/landingpage. But we really need it to be as subdomains, so like landigpage/url.

I searched for a long time for solutions and just found the information that this is not changeable after the first setup of multisite.

Can somebody here please tell me, if this is somehow possible inspite of the information, that you can only set this url-setting at the beginning? Is there maybe something like a migration-script or does somebody have a clue how to solve it?

I thought for a new multisite installation and a migration of the data, but will there be any knwon problems? (Urls… whatever.)
