    This plugin is very poor, particularly if you use the media – convert to webp images function. When you disable this feature it not only removes generated webp files, it also removes any original webp files. We have a very large website that needed this feature turned off, and it has taken us 3 days and counting to unwind all the problems that this plugin has caused.

    I contacted Siteground and they confirm that this is normal behaviour. Very poor design – and beware using this feature, it will destroy your website.
