Outbound Link Tracking Not Working

We are using Monster Insights outbound link tracking feature to track clicks to certain links as events, which are then tracking as goal completions. It would appear that the tracking is no longer working, as we have seen a large drop in outbound link events and in testing further, external link clicks do not appear to be registering in Google Analytics. I have checked the plugin settings and everything appears to be set correctly.
