Another plugin already loaded previous version of Select2.js (3.5).
It affected to filters in right column only .
You can try to locate wrong plugin and deactivate it.
but it’s not an easy process.

I didn’t find good solutions.
Same problem here.
I tried to deactivate all plugins except this one and WooCommerce – and I still get this message.
I don’t have enough information. your theme can use old select2.

WooCommerce is the issue, it uses outdated Select2.js (3.5)
Woocommerce loads it in 2 cases only
1. for frontend pages
2. for Woocommerce admin pages ( like Woocommerce > Settings)
so my plugin works correctly if Woocommerce installed 🙂
