which kind of custom tags you would like to display?
List as you use those tags into phpBB … i can’t grant an immediate answer but as i can i may will add or indicate how to!
the shortcode will be improved to display complete topics with replies … i will take a look in this time maybe adding some of those suggested by default (and improving existent patterns)

I think for now the instruction, i have some bbcodes like spoiler, progress bar, marks and some other thing to display in my forums 😛 but only a few need to add.
Also i want to know if the Media Embed ext works fine whit the shortcode 🙂 https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/extension/mediaembed/

Ok, next 1.7.7 add [media] bbcode parsing.
So video are shown on WP posts.
I’ve try out the function that work very fast and ok for youtube videos …
i guess this nice phpBB mod,

parse/archive into phpBB db all video flavors with same bbcode tags structure … this i’ve still not test.
(But will be easy in case to add any other whenever it fail)

The good thing is that many of the services that only use the link to include the element, wordpress use it as well. So if I just introduced the link, ex. youtube in phpbb, wp should will include it without the [media] code.
Im going test it when is out 😀
