Overlapping schedules do not work

When we create the following booking rules:
(1)
Always open:friday 08:00 – 17:00
(2)
Date specific rule e.g. 20-12-2019 (to add an extra hour of worktime)
friday 17:00 – 18:00We experience the problem that rule (1) is disabled and only (2) is used.
