Overwrite custom post type settings

    Hi there,

    is there a way to overwrite the settings of a custom post type generated with a plugin or the parent them?

    In details I want to change the followings:

    'show_in_nav_menus' => true
'has_archive' => false

    I’m using a child theme.

    Thanks a lot to anyone that could give me a hint!
