Hello,

Is there a way that I can upload a file and have it overwrite one already in my media folder with same name ?
I would like to be able to upload a file and not have it’s name change due to a same name file conflict.

Hey,

Frontend Uploader uses core WordPress functions to handle uploads, hence files not getting overwritten. You can try this plugin that modifies default behavior:

I took a closer look at the plugin, it requires modification of core files which considered not the best practice.
