    Hi,

I want to change (overwrite) a page by postie.
(Want to use it for a menu from pub)

I configure “default post type page” and send a mail with subject “menu”.
this works fine and like expected. Page “menu” was created in wordpress.

Now, after some time I want to change the menu. But if I send new mail with subject “menu”, a new page is created and not changed the old one.

What settings will help me to do what I want?

Sorry, there isn’t a setting for replacing old pages. You could build (or have built) a Postie add-on that could do it. See http://postieplugin.com/extending/

There is a tricky way around this. Set the page that you are using for the menu to it’s own Category. Then set it to display only one post of this Category. When you send a new Post, that one will supersede the older one. If your using Elementor Pro’s Post widget, this is very simple to do just by changing the widget settings. Hope I understood your question and hope this helps.
