• Hello,

I followed the wordpress guide to create a Child theme, however i’m having a problem, my theme doesn’t have the css styles in the style.css file, it has it in css/custom.css , so whatever i put in my child style.css the custom.css overwrite it.

    How can i solve that?

  • What theme are you using? Can you post a link to your site with the child theme active?

I’m using Classiads. Here is my website: http://www.clasificadosvallemedio.com

An example of what is happening is the #static-image2 which is being overwrited by custom.css

If you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.
