    Hi @neptun, thanks for getting in touch.

    Generally speaking, it’s important to note that IP location detection will never be 100% accurate for all IPs you see in Live Traffic as they’re constantly changing. We do update the GeoIP database as often as we can.

    Having said that, with relatively close locations such as Lahti/Espoo, IP addresses can often resolve to a nearby place, such as where a main exchange or an ISP’s server is located. You can see if your external IP location matches Wordfence by checking a site like https://www.iplocation.net/

    Peter,
    Thanks for the reply. That clarified the issue. I was mainly concerned about whether someone outside could manipulate my IP address. The person you mentioned is from Lahti, Finland, who has attacked my website in the past. OK, that doesn’t seem to be the issue now. It could be that the locations of the service provider GlobalConnect are causing inaccuracy in my location according to iplocation.net.
