Oxygen theme getting front page back

    Hello,

    I accidentally deleted my front page which I later found out is necessary for the slider to appear. I am not sure how to get the front page back to enable the slider again. Right now each individual post is listed.

    How do I get the front page back for the slider?

    You should be more specific about how you delete that front page.
    If you delete the file, you need to re-upload the template files.

    WordPress Admin has an option to set the front page for your website in the reading section. You will need to create a page and make it as the front page.

    You can also check your theme documentation on how to install that front page if available.

    Thank you. I figured out how to do it.

    I created a new page, named it front page and then went to Template > front page.

    I was then able to go to Settings > Reading and change the front page to static. The slider appeared.
