    when starting a scan and even when opening any page of the site – an unrecoverable error

    Apache HTTP Server has stopped working

    while the error “Apache HTTP Server” does not stop after [Close the program] but occurs again and again by itself on the computer.

    I have this Denver error for the first time since 2009 on Windows XP and Windows7!! I have always used Denver. never happened!
    the error recurs after restarting windows and denver.

    After deleting the plugin folder from the site folder, the comp (Apache) works fine again.

    It’s obvious that the plugin’s PHP code uses the not fully working capabilities of Apache (Denver).
    I don’t know which function. I don’t read Apache logs.
    I haven’t tested on Windows XP.

    I don’t have NGinx installed on my computer, and I won’t say anything about it. but on Apache it doesn’t work at all!

    при запуске сканирования и даже при открытии любой страницы сайта – неисправимая ошибка

    Прекращена работа программы “Apache HTTP Server”
    Возникшая проблема привела к прекращению раюботы программы. Закройте эту программу.

    при этом ошибка “Apache HTTP Server” не прекращается после [Закрыть программу] а возникает снова и снова сама по себе на компе.

    у меня такая ошибка Денвера впервые за с 2009 года на Windows XP и Windows7!! я всегда использовал Денвер. никогда такого не было!
    ошибка повторяется после перезагрузки Windows и Денвера.

    после удаления папки плагина из папки сайта комп (Apache) снова работает нормально.

    очевидно что PHP код плагина использует не до конца работающие возможности Apache (Денвера).
    я не знаю какую именно функцию. логов Apache я не читаю.
    на Windows XP я не проверял.

    NGinx у меня не установлен на компьютере, и про него ничего не скажу. но на Apache не работает вообще!

    It seems that the software and PHP version is very old and not updated for a long time.
    If you are building a local development environment, we suggest solutions like XAMPP.

    I hope you’re well today!

    My colleague earlier suggested using XAMPP but that doesn’t mean ditching Apache. Solutions such ax XAMPP/WAMP (or Laragon which I recommend with whole my heart) are just nice implementations of entire “stack” (usually it’s Apache + PHP + MySQL). We are not sure what exactly is your setup but with local development on Windows they usually work well as they provide a nicely “tuned” and consistent environment.

    But that’s a side-note and not a requirement of course.

    Agreed. But then this actually depends mostly on two things: error logging settings (related configuration of PHP/Apache) and, in the first place, why Apache crashed. It’s possible that the way it crashed actually prevents it from displaying any logs.

    Which leads me to the next point which is

    I can totally understand it but I’m afraid we can’t do much more without knowing about actual error. Apache “crash” is just a general issue but says nothing about why it crashed, what caused the issue and so on. Logs should tell more so it would be essential to know what those logs say.

    If you’re not familiar/comfortable with checking them then – after checking that they don’t contain any sensitive information such as personally identifiable data (names, IPs etc) – feel free to share Apache and PHP error logs with us and we can look into it. Hopefully it would tell more about what happened.

    To share such logs, it’s best to put them all as a single zip file on your Google Drive, Dropbox or similar account and post direct (public) download link in response here. We could then download such logs and check them.

    I just cleared Z:\usr\local\apache\logs/error.log and reinstalled the Plugin Performance Profiler

    some kind of PHP error should be displayed! don’t crash apache

    this is if apache is working fine and the error is in php

    If you want, you can install the old Apache or download the Denver denwer.ru/base.html build and WordPress 5.1.13, and then put each php function into a separate php file and run it until you get the same error as mine.

    Maybe even the Denver build is not fully compatible with Win7 64bit.

    I’m not interested enough in the plugin to test why it doesn’t work. especially to disassemble on php-functions.

    but probably Apache has already been fixed if your plugin works in current versions of XAMPP/WAMP.

    Если Вы хотите, вы можете поставить старый Apache или скачать сборку Денвера denwer.ru/base.html и WordPress 5.1.13, и потом каждую php-функцию вынести в отдельный php-файл и запускать его пока не получится такая же ошибка как у меня.

    Может даже сборка Денвера не полностью совместима с Win7 64bit.

    Я не настолько заинтересован в плагине чтобы тестировать почему он не работает. тем более разбирать по php-функциям.

    но вероятно Apache уже исправили, если в текущих версиях XAMPP/WAMP ваш плагин работает.

    Thanks for sharing the log.

    This is a “resource” issue. This line is a key here:

    This is just one example (there are more in the log) but in general it’s related to the resource usage of the site (when the P3 plugin is used) and resources that are provided by the system.

    In general, resources offered on Win-based setups on older systems (older Win and Apache versions) are pretty limited. The P3 plugin itself is quite resource-intensive and the more complex the site is, the more “resource hungry” it will be.

    The solution here may be to re-configure Apache slightly by adding following code at the very end (bottom) of Apache “httpd.conf” file: 

    <IfModule mpm_winnt_module>
    ThreadStackSize 8888888
</IfModule>

    It may and should help but please note that this is pretty much it. We don’t have resources to support operating system/server configuration related issues as well as we can provide only limited support for old/outdated setups (as in WordPress/PHP versions).

    If this doesn’t help then moving the site to modern, fully up-to-date and resourceful environment may be the only way to solve this or, at least, to make it possible to troubleshoot it further.
