For a while, I was testing PA API with different plugins. Last week found ASA1 plugin and testing.

Yesterday all API pages stopped working. Now, API setup page gives,

Error: Error calling PA-API 5.0! HTTP Status Code: 403 Error Type: AssociateNotEligible Error Message: Your account does not currently meet the eligibility requirements to access the Product Advertising API.

error. After a quick search, I learnt that Amazon require 3 (in some sources 10) qualified API-Linked sales in 30-days, after API activation. I was just testing and learning. Really, stupid thing.

Now, I don’t have API access but need to make 3-10 sales to re-gain access to API 🙁

What I’m asking is that; what is the API link format while sending clicks to Amazon. As far as found, link format is like that, but not sure how it works:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/ASIN_CODE?tag=XXXXX-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1

I thought that, if I change some regular links to that link format, I can make sales and re-gain API access.

    Any idea?

    Hi,

thanks for your request. To be sure about the format for Amazon links if you cannot currently obtain the links via the Amazon PA API, I would recommend generating the links via Amazon SiteStripe. Check out the Amazon help page https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/help/node/topic/GJMMT7G4C8K4Y3AY

I hope I was able to help you. If you still have questions, please let me know.

I changed some of my links to above link format. Today, I checked associates central / Link Type Performance and see that there are many PA-API clicks.

I just want to inform you, and other people suffering from that kind of problems.

    Sincerely.
