Hi wavewatcher,
I think it would be best if you changed that sub menu back to a standard Flyout menu, then you can use the Mega Menu > Menu Themes > Flyout Menu > Menu Width option to change the width of it. To shift it to the left or right, up or down, there is a feature in the Pro version to do this.

Tom
Thanks for the quick replyTom.
Is there a way to configure the flyout menu so that all of the submenus are in the same dropdown and don’t “flyout” to the left or right? That is the main reason we are using the Max Mega Menu.
Hi,
There isn’t, but when I check the Calendar sub menu there is only one column of items?
If you want to keep the sub menu as a mega menu, and reduce the width (i.e. remove the “padding” on the right hand side), you can also do that with the Item Styling functionality in Pro, or change it in the theme editor (but that will apply to all mega menu sub menus, not just the Calendar one).

Tom
Hi Tom –
yes, there is one calendar, but they are nested levels. So the items under Tuesday and Wed are each submenus of Tues and Wed. Does that make sense?
I am great with this applying to all submenus, as that is what we want to do.
We are trying to replicate what I did on this Calendar drop down on this site https://www.anandatexas.org/, but I used Uber Menu there and I am hoping to be able to do the same with Mega Menu.
Can you share with me how I would change it in theme editor?
Hi,
To make the calendar sub menu narrower (i.e. remove the “padding” from the right hand side), go to Mega Menu > Menu Themes > Mega Menus and set the panel width to 300px.
Then go back to Appearance > Menus and open the mega menu builder for the Calendar item, and change the layout so that the column spans the whole width of the row.

Tom
Yes! That did it! Thank you, Tom!
Regarding the top margin, I was able to get that to work with some CSS. However, if I go beyond 5px or so, the dropdown disappears before I can move the mouse from the hover over at Calendar down to click on something. Do you have any suggestions about that?
Try setting the Event back to ‘Hover Intent’, this will give the mouse a few extra milliseconds to regain focus on the sub menu before it disappears.

Tom
Hey Tom – I tried that and it didn’t help. I moved the menu back up so it is usable until I figure this out. Would some CSS possibly help, or is there another setting that controls how long the menu stays up?
Hi,
If I check your page source, it ends abruptly so the Max Mega Menu JavaScript (and probably the JS for other plugins) isn’t being loaded in the footer, so you’ll need to look into that. Once the page is loading properly, the hover intent option should work.

Hi Tom –
wow….this is very helpful. I appreciate you letting me know. I don’t have any experience with this issue and was just recently brought on to help fix this site. Can you let me know how you saw that and do you have any suggestions on how to fix that?
Hi,
Here is the problem:

I don’t know how to fix it sorry, it is something you would need to ask your theme authors to help with, or maybe the authors of the page builder you are using.

Tom
Hey Tom!
Thanks for letting me know what you are seeing.
I just took a screen shot of the home page and I am seeing the closing tags.

You will need to right click and view page source – dev tools is automatically adding those in.

Hi Tom –
