Page Break Code Not Working Correctly

Hello,

I have a bilingual site which is linked through two wordpress accounts that mirror each other. I put the same page break code in both websites: <!–more–> to break the blog post where I want it to be.

Italian version: Works correctly and shows a full picture on the homepage: http://italicanakitchen.com/it/

English version: Only shows the small square and not the whole photo: http://italicanakitchen.com

The English version however works for the email that is automatically sent out with the full photo and page break in the right spot. That being said, I can’t figure out why it doesn’t work on the website correctly when with the email list it works fine.
