For the past two days, I’ve been unable to save page changes and preview pages from WP admin. Every time I try to save changes or click “Preview” for any page, I get Error 503. Service Unavailable. I disabled all plugins and re-enabled them one by one to figure out whether any of them was the culprit. The only time I got the error was when Page Builder was activated. When I turn it off, everything works just fine meaning PB is the culprit. Any ideas how to fix this? I have built all pages with Page Builder and they’re messed up when the plugin is deactivated.

    Hi bloodyhowell,

That’s odd – we haven’t received any other similar reports so it’s very likely something is conflicting with SiteOrigin Page Builder rather than it being the sole cause of the issue you’re facing.

Does this issue occur if SiteOrgin Page Builder is the only plugin active? If so, can you please temporarily change the theme of your website to see if this issue occurs? This is perfectly safe and will not result in losing any theme settings.

If this issue doesn’t occur when SiteOrigin Page Builder is the only plugin active, there’s another plugin conflicting with SiteOrigin Page Builder. Please enable each plugin you previously had activated one by one until issue occurs again. When it does, what was the last activated plugin? Are you able to activate the rest of the plugins while that one specific plugin is deactivated?

Okay, I did what you said and the issue only occurred when Page Builder AND Phlox Core Elements (I’m using the Phlox theme) were activated at the same time. When every other plugin except Core Elements is activated, site loads without errors.

    Hi bloodyhowell,

Can you please enable WP_DEBUG, which will require editing wp-config.php so if you need help with this I would recommend getting in contact with your hosting provider. Activate both of those plugins so that this issue occurs again. You should now see an error message rather than a generic error message – what is the error message?
