Page doesnt update

Hi all,

Im experiencing some problems with using the language switcher.
I’ve setup two sites, one site for dutch and one for english. After that i’ve installed te language switcher and configured it on each blog (one in Dutch and one in English).

When i open a page on my Dutch blog i’ve the option to update a page in the English blog. When i select the page i want to update and i click update nothing changes on the English page.

Maybe im doing something wrong but i cant find out what.

Hope you guys can help me.

Hi,

when you are in the edit-screen of the page in English, do you see the Netherlands flag?

Hi,

Yes i have. And when im on the Dutch site i’ve the option to update the English page..

OK, just to be sure … when you click on update it does not save the connection between the 2 pages, right?

well when i click on update it says page saved so i suggest it should be updated then but it isnt.

yes offcourse. http://www.merwestaal.nl/test2 is the dutch page
http://www.merwestaal.nl/test2/eng is the english page

OK, would you please add the switcher to English blog too?

as far as i know this is allready done? I’ve got the option to edit the settings in the english blog so this means it should be working?

No, I mean the code for the flags or the widget … as you prefer.

well thats correct if you want to switch language but the content doesnt update. Or isnt that the purpose of the language switcher?

No, the language switcher creates connections between your contents but does not modify them.

Do you mean a plugin which would translate the automatically?
