Hi Erik,
thanks for reaching out.
If I am correct there are several manual paragraphs in your page after the ads are showing. You should be able of removing these within your page editor.
For placing the ads on this page, I recommend either using an ad group assigned to a placement or multiple manual or widget placements, one for each ad.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
Best regards,
Henning
I added an Ad Group to this, and the white space and sidebar issues are fixed.
If you look at the https://deceptivespeed.com/sponsors/ page now, you’ll see the ad at the top right corner is off a bit. Do you have any idea what I can do to fix that? I can send code if needed. Also, I would like for the ads to be centered, which I have not been able to figure out how to do.
Thanks.
Hi Erik,
Great the sidebar is now showing as requested.
To center the ad block in your page, I suggest using your page editors options to center elements or applying custom CSS to your ads or placements.
If you have further questions regarding Advanced Ads, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me again.
Best regards,
Henning
I’m still not figuring this out.
The page still shows the top right corner is off a bit, and I cannot figure out how to center the ads group on the page.
Hi Erik,
Can you please explain to me what you mean by “The page still shows the top right corner is off a bit”?
Can you please also let me know how the ads are placed on your website? From outside, it does not look that it’s done by Advanced Ads.
Please ensure creating your ad units, grouping them in ad groups and serving them to the frontend via ad placements.
This gives the most options and variations for adjustments.
Best regards,
Henning
I apologize, I didn’t mean the page is off. I meant the top right ad is off compared to the rest of them. There are four squares of ads, and the ad on the top right is a bit off to the right, and I would like it to be together with the rest of the ads and for the whole group to be centered.
And I am using Advanced Ads. I went to “Add New” on Advanced Ads, and here’s what the code looks like.
<div class="alignleft">
<script type="text/javascript">
amzn_assoc_ad_type = "banner";
amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon";
amzn_assoc_region = "US";
amzn_assoc_placement = "assoc_banner_placement_default";
amzn_assoc_banner_type = "ez";
amzn_assoc_p = "12";
amzn_assoc_width = "300";
amzn_assoc_height = "250";
amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "deceptivesp0f-20";
amzn_assoc_linkid = "312f20535313427cb70cca15a58cd2cc";
</script>
<script src="//z-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&Operation=GetScript&ID=OneJS&WS=1"></script>

Hi Erik,
Thanks for the ad code.
This looks like three images and one Amazon Code block. This code snippet brings also its own CSS styling.
I suggest reaching out to your frontend developer if you have special questions about the styling.
If you want to build this using Advanced Ads I suggest using four separated ad units, building the grid with your page editor and placing the ads manually one by one.
Best regards,
Henning
