You likely had “inline & defer CSS” active without good (updated) “above the fold CSS”. A video will not really help to confirm, but if you can set this up on a staging/ dev. site I’d be happy to have a look 🙂

even with the settings it’s impossible for me to say with any certainty what caused this bogaard; it’s possible part of the page is rendered by JS and that executes (very) late, it’s possible they had lazyloading active on a hero-image that did not have dimensions set, … your guess is as good as mine.

as I wrote; I need to be able to see and investigate the problem in order to have any certainty as to what the problem was 🙂
