Page load progress does not display

    I have several websites set up the same way and on the same hosting service. However, a few have them have developed a behavior whereby the browser (all types) is waiting to display the page until it is fully loaded and then, “BLINK”, the entire page shows up all at once. It is as though I have a JQuery script set to hide the elements until all are loaded. Performance is not a problem and the browser is caching just fine. The issue is the appearance of nothing happening.

    I have tried all of the top caching plugins and turning off all the plugins entirely. No effect.

    ALTERNATE QUESTION: How do I force WordPress to display the progress of a page load/refresh?
