    anyone?

Not found usually just means that: something is missing.

Well thank you for that. I have uploaded all of the files that were given to me on ww.wp.xz.cn. Has wordpress left something out?

Not that “wordpress has left out” anything… but you may be aware that nothing made by humans is perfect, so it happens more often than you think that during the download or unzip or upload files get corrupted. It is that simple.
Or, it also can be some strange server setup – if yourblog/wp-admin/install.php displays in your browser and it gets 404 only when clicking the next step.
(example.com links are not really helpful and bumping after one hour is considered quite bad manner 🙂

Bad manner? I am trying to use a product that is not working. Who cares about manners at this point. What is the time frame for “bumping”? You need to put that in your manual, along with what to do when you are served a “page not found” on step 2.

I would say your sarcasm on a “support” forum is in bad manner and does not bode well for the product itself. I will figure this out on my own.

    Regards.
